Clinical supervision
relational supervision to support your growth as a systemic therapist
systemic supervision
If you’re a therapist drawn to the complexity of family systems, relationship dynamics, and attachment-based work, you know that holding space for others is deeply meaningful—but not always easy. Clinical supervision at Better Connections Therapy is designed to help you deepen your confidence, sharpen your clinical instincts, and develop your unique voice as a relational therapist.
Whether you’re seeking licensure, early in your career, or looking to expand your systemic lens, supervision can offer a grounding space for reflection, support, and skill-building.

Meet your supervisor
Emma Carpenter LMFT, NCc
I see supervision as both a safe haven and a space for growth. My goal is to help supervisees bridge theory and practice, reflect on who they are as therapists, and build confidence in their clinical voice. Through this process, I aim to support the development of thoughtful, competent systemic thinkers who will continue to strengthen and evolve our field.
I have extensive training in relational, systemic, and attachment-based approaches, and am Level 3 Gottman Trained. I offer supervision grounded in warmth, curiosity, and collaboration.
In supervision, you can expect reliable, scheduled sessions that honor your time, clinical goals, and growth as a systemic clinician. We balance case staffing with intentional didactic moments—exploring theory, reflective practice, therapist self‑awareness, and cultural humility. I am actively mindful of power dynamics, striving to build a safe, non‑judgmental space where feedback is empowering and collaborative rather than evaluative.
